on your own this morning. well, sort of. if you are on the bay bridge, take a look at the westbound ride. the 880 approach is now backed up beyond the bay bridge toll plaza for the westbound ride. we are backed up beyond 24 on 580. 24 is slow from before the caldecott tunnel. the drive time is over 30 minutes from here just to get to the bay bridge. look at the east shore freeway. it is already backed up in san pavlova in the westbound direction. if you are heading to the san mateo bridge, take a look, southbound 880 is backed up to 238 and northbound 880 is backed up towards in union city. this is slow out of a

percent capacity just about a minute to go. the fix the glitch in computer system and everything is working fine. . they a 100 percent capacity by a 15 this morning some damage is already done however. up to 1000 people were impacted last night when the trains for stopped. this is the result of a computer problem as central control where the system stopped communicating with track switches for some crudes to crank the switches manually. a lot of the commuter's really don't care what the problem is they just know they're getting to work late this morning. >>: this is worst than a strike. when you're on strike i was frustrated because i had to find a way to get over there and now they have me stuck here and

really bearing the brunt of it. facts on highway 24 begin at the caldecott tunnel. for interstate 580 the guinness and apollo in downtown oakland for the nimitz freeway all approaches to the bay bridge are jammed this morning. with this westbound 24 ride. it now it's backing up beyond her rendell for the westbound 24 ride. looks like the back of began between orinda and lafayette. the ride on interstate 80 in the back of now all the way to highway 4 and that is the beginning of the bay bridge back up because that's the reason for the slow traffic here this morning and extremely slow there's a new hot spot

here interstate 580, the macarthur freeway heading through oakland. there are 150 something plastic debris has been spilled across at least two of this lanes and it's serious enough that it is really pretty and back up here. and looking at the rest of the traffic. continuing problems with slow going for southbound 683 south phone 242, westbound for. that's all part traffic this morning and the ride of 580 westbound. not so bad but drive times are still up from 42 to 44 minutes. we have another hot spot here and in fact, still do but the incident that caused at least it is clear. if there was police activity. an investigation of a person found on the roadway. they have been transported to the hospital so the scene has been cleared. but there were too lanes blocked at washington backing of the traffic all along the bus and no great. south bay freeways 3 here's a quick look. you concede that there

high winds around the bay area have knocked out power to thousands. thousands of pg&e customers are without power this morning. 25,000 are without power in the east bay. 8,500 in the north bay 105 are with out power along the peninsula. and 15 customers in the south bay. kron4's will tran has an update. >>will: fortunately it looks like the branches are only touching the house and it didn't go through it. you can see this not a lot of the branches down here at oakland avenue in mariposa. this is our fourth location this morning as far as trees. we talked to the oakland police department and said at least 50 to 60

we're talking to the oakland police department and it's coming at least 50 to 60 trees all over oakland. unfortunately in some cases the men took hours. probably into the afternoon because this came out of nowhere. they're scrambling in some cases they were called on ted dead-end street of the tree came down those people are usually stranded because they can't get to those places fast as the people would like. willis is open to the people who need to go and say the award. >>james: here are the latest numbers from pg&e. these weather like heyman. we've just updated this graphic

matter it is basic contract lost three you look it over before you do it unless both of you agree that this mistake this is what you're bound by. now the fact is the contract is for indicated on a ratification vote by the unions and by the bart board so centrally there's no contract in place if the bart board don't do it. they approved it without that one provision. it's unclear as to whether or not that. it would be as if you get your insurance policy from the bottle bill. so essentially i don't think they're going to strike. i think the political fallout from the last two strikes is too much. i don't think the
